This site is a sampling of my client work from over twenty years of experience as a Web Designer working in NYC. Prior to going freelance in 2007, I was a Senior Art Director at interactive/web consulting agencies servicing Fortune 500 companies. Since then, I’ve been a consultant on a variety of projects for high-profile clients, including extensive visual design work on complex proprietary applications for large financial institutions. Currently, I am a VP of UX Design at Tradeweb where I utilize both my visual design and user-experience skills to create complex user interfaces and workflows.

I've successfully designed and directed projects from start to finish as the sole visual designer, and have effectively managed design teams of varying sizes from initial design through production and QA. I've worked closely with Account Directors, Project Managers, Creative Directors, User Experience Designers, Strategists, Copywriters, Animators, Developers, Engineers, and QA Specialists.

I am experienced with art direction, design, and UX, client interaction, concepting, mood board development, initial design, design refinement, production design, optimization of graphics, detailed style guides, design QA (including using the Agile process and JIRA), and management of these processes. I am easy to work with, organized, detail-oriented, conscientious, and reliable. I now use Sketch as my main tool for Visual and UX Design, but I am also proficient in Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, and InDesign.

My work spans a broad spectrum of industries: financial, medical (pharmaceutical, bio-engineering, healthcare), publishing, editorial, retail, non-profit, technical, and marketing. Clients have included Tradeweb, Morgan Stanley, Citi/Smith Barney, Merrill Lynch, Capital One, American Express, as well as Boston Scientific, Genzyme, Ortho Biotech, Pfizer, CIGNA, TIAA-CREF, Time Inc Interactive, Fairchild Publishing, M&M Mars, Sears, Slim·Fast/Unilever, Avon, Kodak, Hallmark, The 92nd Street Y, CBS, MGM, Lucent, Sony, Intel, IBM, GE, and CNN.

The financial applications that I've worked on cannot be shown due to their proprietary and confidential nature. If you would like to learn more about my UX & Design experience in this field, please email me.
